Lorna was a lovely bright, happy, caring person, with a larger then life personality and had a
wicked sense of humour.
She fought off everything life threw at her, and always remained happy no matter what.
Lorn was doing a car vehicle mechanics course ,she had completed one year of a three year course
when she died, she loved it and throw herself into it 100%.
Lorn loved wildlife and animals, her favourite animals were foxes, she loved cuddly toys and shoes
and handbags and bought all three all the time.
As one of her friends once said of her "She was a small person with a big personality and a big
heart".
She will always be loved and remembered by all her family and friends.
Lorn you will always be in our Hearts, love you always love Mum and Dad xx

I'm sorry for your loss my name is Rebecca and i have Cystic Fibrosis ...it is so sad that your daughter died at such a young age.... i am 13 but I hope to live for many more years.....this disease is a war that will never end.... It is hard living like this but through it all I'm sure Lorna would have loved that you put the time and effort in making this memorial.... Im a veh tech....not many women go down this very,tough road....fair play to Lorna....it takes a strong will.I seem to see,that males in her life,influenced her,I like that.How very,very sad,God loves a person that tries to be the best...I do,Im filling up...dont do that very often.RIP,Lorna...I can tell you were dearly loved.

i did not know you but what a lovely looking girl, and what a sad time for all who knew you personally. my thoughts are with your mum and dad as i also lost my daughter last sept age 31 and i know the heartache, my daughter mirelle`s death was sudden due to an anurism

I have just seen the flower bed in memory of lorna i never knew her but after reading what she did in her short life She was 4 years younger than me and attchieved so much more. She is a beautiful girl and you must be so proud to call her your daughter. My thoughts and prayers are with you xxx

No of course I'm not thats fine, oh right now I see how you come to be on here, just that hub and me were saying we wondered how you knew Lorna was on here and thought it was because you already knew of the site.
Must admit when I nominated Lorna for the flowerbed no way in a million years did I think we would win it, was great tho when we did.

Marion was looking in her local paper and saw the flower garden in charlton and when she saw the name she wondered if it was the Lorna in the woods. I then tried to find the picture on the mercury web site and it mentioned a memorial site and all I had to do was click on the link and that was it!! Hope you weren't offended
